Copper Concentrate produced from copper oxide, copper sulfide or copper sulphide from the copper ore from our copper mines.

COPPER CONCENTRATE

At present we can provide of one of our mines, a maximum of 24.000 tonnes per month (280.000 Mt/Year) of copper concentrate with a minimum of 30% copper. The mine is located in northern of Argentina and we guarantee the customer for contract the not to use heavy metals in the production of copper concentrate.

QUALITY

We formally guarantee in the Sales and Purchase Contract that the Copper Concentrate and extracted and produced in our mines and delivered to the client has 0 % presence of heavy metals. This is obtained due to the absence of Arsenic in the process of the metals. Therefore we can undoubtedly fulfill extensively the international regulations on heavy metals on the export of these metals as seen in the chart below:

* Moisture: Free moisture loss at 105 degree Centigrade shall not exceed 5%.

PRESENTATION

The presentation of the Copper Concentrate will be in powder.

PACKAGED

The client is given the option to receive the merchandise in bulk or in 40 inches containers with approximately 20 MT in each one and packed in 50 kg sacks or Big Bags of 1000 Kg. The shipment in bulk is only feasible for the complete monthly production of 24.000 MT. Any order below this quantity will obligatory be in containers.

PRODUCTION PROCESS

The mineral will be extracted in brute and will suffer the first grinding to gather it in the pools to realize the leaching; this first phase provokes the corresponding separation and decanting of the metals. The following phase is to extract the leached pieces with an average concentration of the metal. These concentrated pieces suffer a new grinding and an electrolysis where we obtain a higher concentration of the Copper (Cu) – A minimum of 30 % on the Cu or 90 % of purity on the Au.

After the electrolysis, the concentrate suffers a new grinding and the final product is obtained. The basic mineral from which the copper concentrate will be produced will be the superficial layers, which in its turn means a copper oxide with more than 5 % of law in Cu and the lower layers of sulfides of copper with more than 8 % of law in Cu.

EXTRACTION + GRINDING + LEACHING + FLOTATION = COPPER CONCENTRATE WITH A MINIMUM OF 30% OF CU.

The copper concentrate is the result of processing and concentration of copper ore. The mineral is copper oxide with 5% and copper sulphide with 8% (Raw ore) comes from our copper mines.
